Overview

Xpenza ("the App") is a personal finance and budget tracking app developed by Xopple. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is stored, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Xpenza collects only the data you manually enter:

  • Transactions (amount, category, notes, date)
  • Wallets and account balances
  • Budgets and savings goals
  • Subscriptions
  • Custom categories and labels
  • Split expense details (names of contacts you enter)

We do not collect any personal information automatically. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs in the App.

Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions, all of which are optional:

  • Location: Used to tag transactions with a location for your reference. Location data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
  • Notifications: Used to send you budget alerts, bill reminders, and savings goal updates. All notifications are generated locally on your device.

Data Storage & Sync

  • All your data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
  • If you are signed into iCloud, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This allows you to back up and restore your data across your devices.
  • We do not operate any servers. Your data never passes through our servers. It goes directly between your device and your iCloud account (managed by Apple).
  • iCloud data is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. Period.

  • No analytics services
  • No advertising networks
  • No third-party SDKs that collect data
  • No server-side processing

Data Export & Deletion

  • You can export your data as CSV or PDF at any time from the App's Reports section.
  • You can delete all data from Settings → Reset All Data. This removes data from both your device and iCloud.
  • Uninstalling the App removes all local data. iCloud data can be managed through your device's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Children's Privacy

Xpenza does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above.
